My short story…

I am passionately devoted to my husband Paul, our beautiful children, my journey with God and helping others. I went from broke, college drop out, divorce, health problems and being spiritually lost, to a million-dollar+ home business, married to the most amazing man, extraordinary children, health restored, found and saved!

The transformation started when I met Jesus for the first time in my thirties.  I gave my life to Christ in August 2006, at the age of 36, and so many positive things changed since then that I can't even list them all!!! 

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Cor. 5:17

The most dramatic and life-changing miracle was in 2011, where I was led to make a RADICAL decision.  With my husband's support and after 11 years of building a successful direct sales team and reaching a Regional Manager position… I walked away from it all.  God made it clear, He had other plans for me.  Making big money and getting my worth from my business lost it's importance.  It was time to take my life in a completely new direction.  I had no idea what would be next, I was walking by faith.

I spent the next few weeks continuing with my volunteer work and helping others achieve a higher level of health.  Two months after I resigned from my first business I was overwhelmed and thrilled because the Lord led me to a staff position with my local Church where I can radiate His love and help others.   I have UNSPEAKABLE JOY, I'M FIRED UP and ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!

The longer version…

I cherish meeting new people and building relationships. I am passionate about encouraging people to live their life by design.  I believe if you step up and renew your mind you can get through anything!

I married in my twenties and couldn’t wait to start a family!  I went through a stage of depression when I couldn’t get pregnant.  I ended up going through infertility treatments and by the gracious hand of God, had a baby girl in 1997.

During those first three years of being a wife, mom and managing all the household stuff, I became financially dependent on my husband. Juggling family, home, health, faith, money and a thousand other things in the same 24 hours was exhausting. I was always tired and so busy being everything for everyone else that I lost who I was and my own direction in life.  As a young adult, I did not have a relationship with Jesus Christ.  I was lost and thought I had to do it all on my own.

In February of 2000 I was invited to an in-home party. They say laughter is the best medicine and it was just what the doctor ordered!  I was starting to get depressed again because I wanted to have a second baby and that wasn't happening.  I decided to distract myself and put all my energy into building a business.  I kept thinking….hmmmmm….I’m having LOADS of fun; “I could do this!”  With no experience, I made the decision to start a home business. By learning from others and taking massive action, I achieved all the top awards, won exotic trips and built an extraordinary team generating over $1.6 million in retail volume by the end of 2006.

During those years I went through a very difficult divorce and was able to support myself and daughter with my  business. Being a single mom and having the ability to be home with my daughter during the day meant the world to me! Thinking I would never marry again, I was swept off my feet and married Paul in 2004 and was blessed with a beautiful bonus daughter and she went on to get married in 2010 and that’s when I also gained a wonderful son-in-law.

The BEST DECISION I EVER MADE was when I gave my life to Christ. After years of trying to control everything and everyone, pouring all my time into my business, working morning, noon and night and making tons of money to buy things for my family I realized it's true what people say…money really does not buy you happiness.  Something was missing from my life.  In August 2006 I gave my life to Christ and God has been working BIG TIME in my life ever since.  I'm on fire for God!

In January 2010 my health changed dramatically. I was told I had an auto-immune disease called Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, there was no cure only a lifetime of medication.  My thyroid wasn't working  and the severe headaches I occasionally had became frequent and put me in the emergency room.  I was put through a battery of tests to rule out cancer, blood work, head x-rays and MRI.  I was given no answer to the major headaches (told it was hereditary or hormonal), there was no sign of cancer then put on medication for life. I went on to gain 20 lbs in less than a year, add that to the 10 lbs I was already over put me 30 lbs overweight.  (This picture is from January 2011). I was back to the weight I was when I was 9 months pregnant except no baby and I felt very uncomfortable in my body.

In April 2011, I was led to learn about a healthy whole-body nutritional cleanse through my friend Kimber on Facebook.  I followed the step-by-step instructions to a 'T' and lost 10 pounds and 5 inches off my body in 9 days and went on to lose 24 pounds in 3 months.   Quickly down 30 pounds from my heaviest weight in January 2011, I was being led down a new path and documented the entire journey.  Click here for how I transformed my health. After much prayer and careful consideration, in August 2011, my husband and I made a RADICAL decision.  It was time for me to resign from my first business.  God changed my heart and the big career and money was no longer a motivator.  

I started all over in business and devoted my energy to helping others with their health and continued my volunteer work.  I was walking by faith and reading the bible daily always seeking Him.  Once doubt started to creep in, I could not see how this would work out?…start all over again?  I’m over 40, unemployment is at an all-time high and I’m starting from scratch…Huh?  We'd have to make many financial sacrifices.  We'd have to be better stewards of our resources.  I was ready to roll  up my sleeves and get to work.  Fear was my green light to go!  Sure enough, with my husband by my side, taking massive action and trusting God, I have a new business and it's flourishing! 

In September 2011 a part-time job opportunity would present itself.  I stood amazed at what God was doing, I had dreamed of working for my local Church.  After much prayer submitted my application and after two extensive interviews, I was offered and accepted a position in Children’s Ministry.  What an honor!!!  He is so good and His timing is always right!!!  

By November 2011, I ran my first 5K and barely broke a sweat and felt 20 years younger.  I started doing more research on thyroid disorders.  With my doctor's approval we agreed that I could stop taking the daily medication she said I would have to take for the rest of my life, and that she would monitor me with blood tests every few months.  I really had to push for this, she was hesitant.  I knew I didn't need these pills any more.  By praying every day, eating the right food and continuing with Isagenix I have been able to overcome Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.  I believe God answers prayers and there is a healing power in food.  I continue to feel better than ever, maintain a healthy weight and the best part is NO migraines. My life is all about loving God and loving others.  I'm moving forward by giving back.  I share part of my story to encourage others that your life can be radically changed.

Today I have the privilege of working part-time at my local Church, assist people who are ready to achieve a higher level of health and volunteer in several ministries. 

The Bible says and science confirms that a "joyful heart is good medicine." The Bible has much to say about good health and not all of it is physical. Our spiritual and emotional state has more to do with our health than our modern society and medical system would care to admit.

If you are seeking better health, don't just look at your physical symptoms. Look to the Great Physician and healer of your soul and give your heart to Christ for true peace with God. Then you will discover true health, wealth and life!  Any product I have to offer you is worthless if you don't know God and His incredible love for you and His will for your life. The best part is that His offer of eternal life is free for you because he already paid the price of your sins through the blood of his Son. I have nothing here to offer you that can beat that!
